
Growing to Lead
Every company, sports team, school or any group of people is only as great as the people that make up the organisation; and in turn these organisations are only as good as the leader. The leader sets the pace, sets the level of expected achievement.
The ultimate competitive advantage of your enterprise comes down to a single driver, your ability to grow and develop leaders faster than your competitors. The quicker you can get every single person in the company developing leadership behaviour, the quicker you will move to the top in your field. Your need is to grow leaders fast and develop a “leadership culture” before your competition does.
This means they think like the business owner and do whatever it takes to develop sales, to cut costs and to keep customers happy. This thought process should permeate throughout the whole workforce, from the person at the front desk, in the mailroom right up to the senior executives.
If your company has this philosophy of leadership development, if your people are encouraged to live their dreams to raise the bar on their expectations, and if these ideas and actions are put in place - then you and your company will move from good to great.
